Annie Vestergaard

As a speech pathologist, I love being able to make a positive impact on children and their families through enhancing communication and building connections.  I embrace the diversity and challenges that arise in this role, recognising that every child’s journey to communication success is different. Whether it’s helping a child overcome speech difficulties or finding alternative communication methods for those who are non-speaking to enable them to interact and communicate with the world around them. I enjoy providing families with the tools to help their child succeed and meet their communication goals. I love working with children and seeing the increased engagement and excitement that comes with an improved ability to communicate.  The curiosity and sincerity of children always brightens my day.  Outside of work, I enjoy baking sweet treats for friends and family and immersing myself in a good book.
